“Whazzap/wazzap/True” was a commercial campaign for Anheuser-Busch Budweiser beer from 1999 to 2002 that took hold of the pop culture the same way that viral ads like Burger King’s “Where’s The Beef” and Taco Bell Chihuahua’s “Yo Quiero Taco Bell” did on television years before online video took hold.
