A Japanese female robot, called an “Actroid” is designed to resemble the J-Girl of Harajuku and Shibuya. In the pursuit of realism, animatronic androids have certainly come a long way. We just can’t help but imagine the moment they go ballistic and take out half a convention center. Shot at the Tokyo International Robot Expo in December of 2005.
